You are suffering She said Am I? I wondered
A mother can sense No matter how far away One who suffers, can see the suffering of others
She is quiet I am too
Let her live a little bit more I pleaded to Shiva Hours in meditation Meditation on grief and sorrow
Tears That only I saw For my mother who was about to go
Who will take care of me? She had once asked I will I had replied
The sadness That twitch of her lips Now I cannot forget
Did you call me? I went up and checked I was just checking, if you would come She said
Look there She pointed to the door Someone is there We both looked But no one there
I sat there beside Listening to the silence of the night
Then she left one day I felt I was floating that day
Where is grief? Where are tears? I don’t know I had no time to think I was just floating that day
A story ends this quiet night But life passes by Come flow with me The river calls
I guess this is how all stories end Today it is her Tomorrow it shall be mine
They said she loved me most I wondered why What did I do to deserve more?
What is the meaning of life? People ask There is none, wise men say
To love And to be loved That’s what I say
One who loves, will be loved It’s as simple as that
Oh, the mysteries of love Some day we will understand The bonds that we have carried so far Now feel like that dying star
And maybe Those bonds that are unborn Will reveal themselves in clarity like tomorrows dawn
When thoughts shall disappear And when we understand without understanding What we called the bondage Shall set us free
